The Amsterdam Metropolitan Area: an area that is currently developing an urbanisation strategy with sky-high investment ambitions. This involves a huge challenge in the field of climate adaptation, even though climate adaptation is usually not yet part of investment decisions. How can we make that happen?
Resilience by Design
Our answer: with experts of international standing. Renowned companies and organisations in the field of ‘design’, urban and rural area developments, financing issues, climate adaptation and all the other required disciplines. These teams will develop demonstration projects together with stakeholders from the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. Not to make yet another ‘artist’s impression’ but to develop realisable and fundable projects that can be incorporated into the Urbanisation Strategy. Which show that climate adaptation can and must be a part of investment decisions in construction and area development processes in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area.
