Spatial adaptation in developing countries
Supporting small cities in developing countries in their first attempts towards spatial climate adaptation. That’s the focus of my graduation assignment at &Flux B.V. Supporting developing countries, building adaptive capacity and including social vulnerabilities are key for building resilience. I want to achieve that by linking spatial adaptation to the Sustainable Development Goals in order to build inclusive climate adaptation.
Case study
For my further research, I am looking for a case study in which I can put my ideas into practice. Specifically, I’m looking for:
- A renovation or a neighbourhood
- In a small city in developing Asia
- With sufficient data about physical climate exposure and social vulnerabilities
- With a contact person on location
If you know about a project that matches these criteria or if you are generally interested in my research, please reach out to me (jil@nflux.nl)!
