New company with a wealth of experience
Working to achieve a sustainable Netherlands: circular, fossil-free, resilient. That is what we do. Since the start of this year, we have been doing this at the nicest new company in the Netherlands (we think): &Flux!
Fortunately, we didn’t have to start from scratch. Our people already had a wealth of experience in the field of energy transition, raw-material transition and climate adaptation.
Under our own steam
&Flux came about as a result of the many great sustainability projects that were developed and realised at BLOC – the leading ‘next generation development’ company based in Rotterdam. Using this as a springboard for new entrepreneurship, we spent the past few years working on projects, programmes and new value chains. We learned step by step what we are good at and not good at, what we want to do in the future and how we can best organise ourselves to do exactly that.
A climate-friendly working method is an absolute precondition for a successful future. That applies to companies, to government organisations and to… well, all of us. It means looking beyond your own business, working together and thinking about the impact of growth and development. And that means plenty of opportunities!
Sustainable heat, reuse of CO2, large-scale use of hydrogen, sustainable greenhouse horticulture, climate-adaptive construction projects in South Holland and the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area, circular construction, the transition to a ‘new economy’, programme management on Energy & Climate: &Flux is a new company with a wealth of experience.
